Through Your Prayers…Hope is Restored in Jesus!

Lazaro and Glenda needed a miracle when they arrived at our Wheels for the World outreach in El Salvador. They brought their five-year-old daughter, Ruth, who cannot walk, and their other daughters Rosa and Amilta. Lazaro and Glenda heard through their church that Joni and Friends was coming to deliver wheelchairs—sent by you! They wondered, could this finally be the answer to our prayers for Ruth?
Feeling hopeful when they arrived, Lazaro and Glenda knew they could never afford a wheelchair for their daughter. But that morning, these parents’ prayer for their disabled daughter was finally answered… because of your prayers and generosity!
Lazaro and Glenda watched as our volunteer Wheels physical therapists and mechanics tenderly and perfectly fit Ruth into her very own wheelchair.
“This wheelchair has changed our lives,” Lazaro told us with tears in his eyes. “Ruth is so happy and excited to be mobile and go outside like the other kids.” Lazaro’s message to you is powerful: “I’m praying blessings for every one of you, just like you’ve given us today.”
