Stand up for Special-Needs FamiliesAs they say, "As California goes, so goes the country." It's why disability advocates across the nation are up-in-arms about proposed budget cuts to critical services that support young people with developmental disabilities. The structure is about to collapse in California, an omen for other states facing budget cuts. Our own Steve Bundy, vice president of Christian Institute on Disability, has written a thoughtful response, showing how this crisis in California will soon impact needful services for people with disabilities in other states. Read Steve Bundy's article for all the details, and please join us in prayer as Gov. Jerry Brown meets with lawmakers today to discuss ways to increase funding for developmental disability services in the state of California.
