Volunteers collecting wheelchairs for Wheels for the WorldDo you know what happens to a wheelchair after it’s donated to our Wheels for the World ministry? You make ministry happen at Joni and Friends Area Ministries, located throughout the United States. Recently, in the Greater Philadelphia area, a group of volunteers emptied two storage units and filled a sixty-three foot tractor-trailer with wheelchairs and walkers! With help from the Eastern Pennsylvania Area Office, 300 wheelchairs will go to Cheshire Correctional Institution to be refurbished. Once finished, they will be shipped to Romania and El Salvador and given to disabled children and adults in need. Maybe you know of a wheelchair sitting in a garage or attic, no longer used. You can help, too! Learn how you can donate a wheelchair and make a difference in someone’s life!

Where have you been? I am now more qualified to be a member than I ever have been!!! I am now 47 years in the Lord. I am a former deacon and Sunday school teacher. I accumulated 116 credits at Valley Forge Christian College. I am presently looking into Westminster Theological Seminary. I have joined CCEF. I am now living at Oakwood Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. I have been diagnosed with a myriad of chronic diseases including Transient Ischemic Attack, Type 2 Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, Tinnitus, Dizziness (Vertigo), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. 1. I stand ready to be of service to Joni and Friends; Habakkuk 2:1. 2. I still need ministry MYSELF !!
