I love it when you learn to paint in the movie. What's your favorite part?

A month or more ago, I listened to your brief radio piece on Amy Carmichael. I deal with several inflammatory diseases, one which researchers suggest is as painful as stage 4 cancer with quality of life scores worse than end stage kidney failure. I went out on Amazon and bought a collection of her books and began reading. See, when I was diagnosed, the stress on my body was so bad that I couldn't cook a meal and then eat it with my family. I began pain medication after years of tolerating pain from injuries without any treatment, and it made me feel shame to start pain medication, and I am looking for the resolve to end medication and hope to find some other strength to get me through. I wanted to thank you. The joy and love in your voice always makes my heart smile. God bless.

Joni, You have always been such an inspiration to our family - who has a disabled member - Philip. We feel close to you because we live in MD (also your home state) and our daughter-in-law used to go to church with your family ages ago (growing up). We also connected with you at the first,(1999) third & fourth Family Retreat. We appreciate your artwork (have used your cards for years) and your Wheels for the World ministry. Also the Family Retreats. Our first attendance at Family Retreat was responsible for my husband finally "accepting" our son's disability. We have precious memories of this retreat - you took an interest in Philip's ability to sing and actually took time to sing with him. We want to thank you for never giving up on your service to the Lord and to families with disabilities. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We love you. Marilyn, Wayne and Philip

Hi Joni, as you get older like me, how do you cope with health challenges on top of your disability? For instance, I am 70 years old with cerebral palsy, and I sometimes find myself wanting to go to Heaven. Instead, I want to serve the Lord gladly and wait on Him to take me home. God bless you!

I have been following your story since 1980 and I saw you once at the Philadelphia civic center and another time in your office at Agora Hills and I went to your Grace church when John McArthur preached. You are a tremendous inspiration to me!!
