Finding Peace in Pain

If you know Joni, you know that she loves what we do here at Joni and Friends, and loves the Lord Jesus. She even loves what He's taught her through 50 years of quadriplegia! But one thing she does not love is her daily chronic pain. If you’re suffering – whether from pain, disability, heartbreak, or something else – you’re sure to enjoy this video Joni shared last year about finding the Lord's peace in the midst of hardship.

Thank you for this video and your words of encouragement. Living with the chronic pain of post polio can get the better of me if I focus on it. You remind me here to always remember that I am carried by the Deliverer and Healer for the rest of my days on Earth. And in His time, I will be delivered to my heavenly home... finally completely healed and delivered!!

Thank you, Joni. Thank you for sharing about your pain and your Healer. He is our everything. Hymns have encouraged me too. Sometimes it is just a reminder "Jesus Love Me".

Thank you so much for the encouragement. Our youngest son went to be with Jesus about a year and a half ago and this Christmas has been harder to get through than last year for some reason. I've been fighting depression, trying to keep Scripture foremost in my mind. Could you post the words to the hymn you sang? I don't think I've ever heard it before and it was just what I needed to hear.

Thank you for your wisdom and encouragement and for comforting us by the same comfort you have received from God as the verse in 2Cor 1:4 states in His word.
