you are a living signpost, pointing to the comfort and challenge issued from the Lord of the Cross. comfort in that He understands and cares, though our circumstances/emotions say otherwise; challenge in that Jesus is LORD, Sovereign, Worthy of our worship, our hearts must bow before Him, moment by moment. thank you, joni, for your healing transparency. God bless you.

Dear Joni and Ken I found your loving email responding to the necessity of having radiation treatments and listening to your talk at Westgate Assembly has encouraged me this Saturday Eve before Resurrection Sunday. I am scared for cancer is quite a challenge and one that I have prayed about for others ... like you my friend ... and now it is my turn to receive prayer. I am so grateful for lots of friends that have prayed and it is going to be alright ... and GRACE will prevail and Jesus is my all and all. Thank you friends for loving me and caring amongst the many you pray for. I am grateful and thankful to know a living God who gave us this gift of life in Christ ...His only son...to take our place and give us hope and life anew. Happy Resurrection Day and I will be singing loudly about the tomb being empty as will you both. Blessings from Mama bunny

Some days I feel "doing lupus" is too much. Then, I ask God for the strength to persevere. I have a wonderful husband and 3 lovely daughters. How can I say "No, not today, I won't do it." Thank you for being a very public voice to the world. Most of all thank you for your honesty and wisdom. You encourage me so much. I have learned contentment in suffering and your example encourages me!

I was feeling kinda down today. After watching this video, I realize there is so much more I can be doing besides sitting around feeling sorry for myself. Even though life has beaten me up so many times and has knocked me down more than once, God can still use me. I feel inspired to tell others about how awesome and merciful He is. He has brought me through so much, I owe Him everything. I literally owe Him my life!

Hi Joni, thank you so much for sharing the deepest thoughts of your heart and for wanting to encourage others. Every time I watch a video of yours like this it has me in floods of tears. It softens my heart towards the man who is causing me the greatest heartache and suffering as I raise my young boy on my own. Like you so many times I am so tired, I don't want to face another day, I wake up begging God to help me live, but you are helping me realise there are people out there with far greater needs and helping me understand that God wants us to help them, to bring Christ's love to them. I pray that we will start doing that in our church. Thank you for your courage and it really ministers to me, thank you. xoxo

Thank you, sweet Joni, for your courageous and inspiring words of wisdom. Your obedience and acceptance of God's plan for your life and your daily commitment to not grumble or complain. You spur me on toward the cross and the Christ of the cross who gave His life for me (us). My disability is not physical, but sin, and I must constantly keep a check on my grumbling and complaining attitude and, too often, words. I am so thankful for your willingness to cling to Him and learn from Him...and then to admonish and encourage us with the lessons He teaches you. I really needed this video today--and I passed it on to a friend who is barely hanging on each day and needs to hear your precious words. I love you, Joni, and your love for Jesus!

WOW!! God sent me to this site today because all day yesterday I was sobbing and screaming "Oh God I didn't deserve this! Why did you let me get paralyzed 14 months ago?? I was a good person and always loved you! Please God heal me or let me die!" I did this ALL day yesterday and this morning I angrily decided to check out my Facebook. And as I started to feel jealous of all the fun and physical stuff my FB friends were doing, I came to this FB post!! And now I feel renewed, hopeful. and Blessed! Thank you Joni!! God spoke to me through you!!
