Are you looking for a fun and engaging outreach project for your church or youth group? How about collecting wheelchairs that will bring hope and mobility to children and adults with disabilities around the world? Get your entire community involved by hosting your own Wheels for the World wheelchair drive! Whether you host a wheelchair drive as a weekend event or over an extended event, Joni and Friends wants to provide support as you form your team, find sponsors, and promote your event. You’ll start by organizing a team of volunteers, including people who are able to collect and transport wheelchairs, and find locations in your community to host the event. Joni and Friends wants to provide you with detailed information and how-to’s, promotional material, tax-donation receipts for each wheelchair donor, and prayer. Get your community involved!
