Pablo receiving his gift of a pediatric wheelchairPablo and his parents, Luis and Jalina, live in Cuba. His disability has threatened his life several times, and it’s a miracle he’s even alive. Then something special happened on the day of his 10th birthday. Your prayers opened the windows of heaven with a gift only God could give! Pablo’s parents are strong Christians and have relied upon Christ for strength, faith and patience throughout Pablo’s life. His disability has been a great test, though they trust God and know He is in control. Yet, even with great faith, Pablo’s dad Luis admitted, “We never prayed for a wheelchair for Pablo because we didn’t believe it was possible!” Because God works through the power of your prayer, Pablo received the greatest birthday gift ever, straight from his Heavenly Father: A beautiful wheelchair, custom-fit – perfect for his needs, safe and comfortable. “This wheelchair you have given us is a demonstration of God’s love and mercy – and the love and mercy of every person who had a part in sending it!” said Luis. “Through this gift you have given in His name, Christ’s comfort has come to us!” As Luis and Jalina bowed their heads to thank God for His miracle birthday gift to their son, they prayed for God’s blessings upon you, the sender of the gift. “It’s God plan for us all to give and receive His love,” said Luis. “From your hearts we receive this gift, and from our hearts back to yours we send our gifts of love. We will daily remember you in prayer, with thanks to God for you!”
